The Vancouver Ex-NewYorkers Meetup Group
|
To belong to this group, you must have been born and raised in The City. Period. We never accepted outsiders and we are not starting now. We will play the dozens in our messages. My name is New York Rich, born in the Bronx at the beginning of Rock'n'Roll, saw the beatniks become hippies. Street-wise in the school of hard knocks...still sell war bonds and cash them in too...at age 59! My wife was born in Little Italy (Arthur/187th)...nee d I say more? We refuse to lose our accents and are proud to be true New Yorkers.
