Introduction
Hi. I've been living in FL for a bit over a year now and still, at times, want to jump on a plane and run home. Would be great to meet up with other New Yorkers with similar cultural backgrounds, people who will understand why I am going to cry my
What part of town do you live in?

Kissimmee

What do you enjoy most about this area?

My home, Celebration restaurants, Disney stuff (I like to go but I don't live and die by it) West Coast beaches and the weather. I like to cycle so it's not just seasonal here - if you can find the time.

What do you miss most?

Soho, Sunday afternoons in the garden at Baroco, Dinners in Meatpacking (Spice Market, Pastis), Roberto at Orlo Salon, great boutiques and friends.

How long have you been here?

I've been here 14 1/2 months.

Please tell us what part of NY you are from.

Born in NYC, lived in the Suburbs of Rockland, have lived in Mid-Town, Upper West, Chelsea, and East 14th...then moved to Central NJ. Most recently from Jersey City.

  •  I haven't been back to NYC this century and I do miss a few things, but mostly I am a tropical bird enjoying the heat. You are among friends down here too, you just have to look a little farther because there is more space between us :)

  •  Hi and belated welcome to Floor-duh, Debbie. Having come from the same neck 'o the woods as you, I can relate to feeling a bit out of my element here. But don't despair; look on the bright side--- you'll never have to shovel in and out of parking spaces as long as you live here!
