Introduction
Hi, I've been in the area for over a decade & love it. However, now & then, I get homesick & want to be with my own kind: people who remember what it's like to hang out on the stoop, go to the corner deli, & just be part of a real neighborhood.
What part of town do you live in?

Windermere

What do you enjoy most about this area?

No ice to scrape off the windshield, ample parking, year long flip flop season, not being the only Baptist within a 50 mile radius, letting the kids go in the pool year-round, clean grocery stores, & having a huge garage to hide all my junk in.

What do you miss most?

Offensive driving being the norm, not having to make appointments just to hang out with friends, real holiday celebrations, subways, the Village, SI ferry, the paychecks, &...the twin towers )-:
