I organized a Bay Area ex New Yorker group up until last year (over Craig's List). I look forward to stopping by tonight to wish you all the best of luck with this new Meetup group!
What neighborhood do you live in? Work in?

I live in Albany (CA, that is!), and work in Walnut Creek.

Just what part of NY are you from? The 5 Boroughs of NYC, or perhaps a little more Upstate?

Queens then Manhattan then Westchester and finally northern New Jersey.
