About Native New Yorkers Meet-Up Group

This meet up group is aimed at providing opportunities for native New Yorkers to get together. Whether you're homesick for Nu Yawk or just want to reminisce about the city, this group will give you an opportunity to make new friends who "get it." If you're new to DC, we can help you as you settle in ... we know where the pizzerias are, the bagel places, clubs, etc. We can tell you about the neighborhoods down here too. Just ask. We also welcome our New Jersey friends, and anyone who has lived in, worked in, visited or simply LOVES NEW YORK!

You will find info pages about New York as you scan our site. You'll also find discussions on our Message Board. Check out the calendar and feel free to make suggestions for activites.

No group of New Yorkers meets without acknowledging 9/11 and so we have ... below is some footage of 9/11 along with other videos which bring a little bit of "New York" to us. [we try to capture monthly events in the city] For those of you in our group who lost friends or family on 9/11 you have our condolences and prayers.
