“ Although I seem to have difficulty getting to many meetups, I would definitely like to chat with you about music sometime if we happen to meet. My dad was a professional musician (graducated from Eastman School of Music many years ago) so it's any area that I am very comfortable with and know a little something about. Do you play professionally? I would like to get to a point where I could play with an informal chamber music group. There is a Chamber Music Meetup group. ”

Played the clarinet until I was about 28 y.o. and then got too busy with other things to play. Decided I wanted to try something new after my hiatus. See you are from Syracuse also. I grew up in Upstate NY about 90 miles east of Syracuse and ended up going to SU undergrad. ”
