Im relocating to London in the next few days to week and it would be
good to have initial contacts with people looking to become good friends there as I bascially dont know anyone so am a bit daunted by arriving at Heathrow with my suitcases and no one to meet me. I had a friend there but he got called out of the country on a family illness and will be gone quite a while so so much for that. Ive thought of arriving with a sign, 'new to the country, now where do I go'. But arriving at night on Sat or Sun is a bit difficult alone since I'll be flying pretty much all day and Im sure will be exhausted. So I thought I would turn to my fellow ex pats for help since we're all in the soup pretty much together. Any ideas or help will be greatly apprecited. Thanks |
